Command Line Reference
Preface
This manual is mainly suitable for the following engineers Network planner On-site technical support and maintenance personnel Network administrators responsible for network configuration and maintenance
Basic Configuration
By default, AsterNOS devices support login through both the serial console and SSH (Secure Shell). When initially logging into the switch, you will need to use the console port (referred to as the serial port below) to establish a connection.
Overall Traffic Configuration Logic
Configure the port to be used through interface configuration, such as rate/FEC, to make the port UP Confirm the traffic input port, output port (create LAG), and ACL filtering rule group and type Prioritize configuring the ACL filtering rule group and adding specified rules. The rule content will specify the output port (LAG) of the traffic.
Interface Management Configuration
Ethernet interfaces are generally used as service interfaces for service transmission and are sometimes also called ports. The Ethernet interface numbering method of this series of products is EthernetX .
Forwarding Policy Configuration
Forwarding strategy is the most commonly used function in traffic diversion scenarios. Its core function is to forward the specified traffic after ACL filtering from the input port or LAG to the output port.
Decoding Configuration
In npb scenarios, some messages require the decoding switch to be turned on before five-element matching can be performed.
Visual Monitoring
To use AsterNOS Exporter's visualization features for the first time, you must first enable the exporter feature on the switch to provide external APIs.
