Basic Configuration
By default, AsterNOS devices support login through both the serial console and SSH (Secure Shell). When initially logging into the switch, you will need to use the console port (referred to as the serial port below) to establish a connection.
Ethernet Interface Configuration
Ethernet interfaces are commonly used for carrying out business-related tasks and data transmission. They are often referred to as ports.
Policy Route Configuration
Traditional route forwarding used to involve looking up the routing table based on the destination address of the packet and then forwarding the packet. However, an increasing number of users now wish to forward and select routes for packets based on their own defined policies in addition to traditional route forwarding.
QoS Configuration
QoS (Quality of Service) is a technology that addresses issues such as network latency and congestion. As a security mechanism in the network, QoS can provide better service capabilities to improve service quality.
AAA Configuration
AAA configuration provides a security management mechanism known as Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting. It encompasses three essential security functions Authentication This process verifies the identity of remote users accessing the network and determines whether the access is granted to legitimate network users.
